- What happens to see-through parts when I make a JPG?
- JPG cannot be see-through, so those areas are filled with a background colour, white unless you pick another. PNG and WebP keep transparency.
- Are my files uploaded anywhere?
- No. Your browser opens and processes the files itself, and nothing is sent to our servers. You can check this yourself on the How we do it page.
- Is my original photo changed?
- No. You get a new file to download and the original stays where it is. Check the result before you replace anything.
- Is Convert image really free?
- Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you use it for.
- Does it work on a phone?
